Can one ever be truly prepared for loss of  a dear loved one?

In my forty-nine years of life, I had experienced sadness, hardships, and losses — be it— jobs, animals, friends, or family members. So, I thought I had experienced my share of suffering.

However, since “that day”, the trauma and intense pain of losing my husband, my brother, my companion, my children's father, and my best friend of 30 years so unexpectedly, is probably the greatest grief to ever rip through my soul and tear my heart to shreds.

"So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid ... For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you.
