The Art of Letting Go: IN THE SILENCE
Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! Psalm 83:1 (NKJV)

The seemingly "silence of God"can feel like a raw and bitter frost. Although He promises — "For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 (NKJ).
Yet, sometimes the hurt, buried so deep in our soul makes that the heart still struggles to trust while in the depths of such despair. We search for something to help us find renewed hope and trust from feeling buried beneath the cold, bitter frost of our "winter" — to hold onto in — the SILENCE. https://video.In the Silence
And, on one of my days of bitter despair this poem welled-up in my heart; so, I thought I'd share for those hurting souls who too will understand and find solace, in their "lonely "silence":
IT IS SILENT . . .
It is Silent, I cannot hear
You are too far, and not so clear
The pain, the sorrow, the anguish of soul
Is threatening to bury me — in this hole
I'm not sure that ME, You see
Oh dear God, please hear my plea
How I'm drowning in this sorrow
I'm not sure there'll be a tomorrow
From such doubt, hurt and despair
In this heart YOU alone — can Repair
The damage, this trial has done
But, Your love right now, I feel none
In You, I am reaching up
I beg you come, and lift me up
Take my hand and make me whole
I don't want to lose, all control;
Of my mind this I fear
Since, I cannot — feel your near
It feels like I am paying penance
And been given, this life sentence
O, Lord
Speak to my heart, this, I pray
Just to make it — one more day!
